When the nights draw in and All Hallows’ Eve creeps a little closer, the woodland creatures come out to celebrate.
This whimsical tea towel is covered in hand-drawn British woodland animals dressed for a night of autumn mischief, each with a little nod to folklore. Brock the badger has squeezed himself into a pumpkin, the fox channels his old reputation as the clever trickster, the white rabbit brings a touch of traditional good-luck superstition, the hedgehog witch recalls the strange old tales once told about hedgehogs, and the masked squirrel is making off with the treats.
Scattered between them are pumpkin baskets filled with autumn spoils, creating a playful repeat pattern inspired by British wildlife, old country beliefs, superstition and the strange little stories passed down through generations.
Every illustration is hand drawn by me and made in my little village studio, bringing a touch of countryside folklore and All Hallows’ Eve charm to your kitchen.
Every illustration is hand drawn by me and made in my little village studio. Each tea towel is handmade to order, helping to avoid unnecessary waste and making each one that little bit more special. Because they are made individually, there may be slight variations from piece to piece- part of the charm of something made by hand rather than mass produced
Made from 100% OCS certified organic cotton, approximately 50 × 70 cm, with a handy hanging loop. 170gsm
