All Hallows’ Eve Dancing badgers canvas tote

A beautifully sturdy heavyweight 270gsm cotton canvas tote, with gusseted sides, a generous 20-litre capacity and comfortable shoulder-length handles.

Each bag is made to order in my little village studio, helping me avoid unnecessary stock and reduce waste. As every one is individually made, there may be slight variations in placement and finish- part of the charm of something created on a small scale.

The design features my hand-drawn All Hallows’ Eve badgers, gathered together for a slightly chaotic woodland dance beneath the autumn night sky. Inspired by old seasonal traditions of disguises, strange happenings after dark and the mischievous side of All Hallows’ Eve, it imagines the badgers keeping their own October celebrations once the village has gone quiet.

Brock is an old country name for the badger, and this design forms part of my Brocktober collection, with 15% of every sale donated to the Badger Trust to support their work protecting badgers across Britain.
